Levantics
The software platform behind agency software.
Levantics LLC builds and operates the platform that life insurance agencies and their licensed agents use to run their business day to day. Agencies use it under their own product name. The first is Cornerstone Account, an agency management platform for life insurance agencies and their agents.
Levantics is a software company. It is not an insurance agency and it does not sell insurance. Agents and their agencies do that work. Levantics provides the tools.
What the Levantics app does
Agents sign in to their agency's product, such as Cornerstone Account, and use it to:
- Keep their client and prospect records, notes and follow-ups in one place.
- Schedule appointments and offer a public booking page that clients can use to pick a time.
- Track applications, policies and commissions.
- Complete contracting and onboarding paperwork with their agency.
- Connect their own Gmail account, so that email they send to their clients from the platform goes out from their own address. Client sending through Gmail is being rolled out.
Connecting a Google account, and why the app asks
An agent can choose to connect their own Google account to the Levantics app. It is optional, and it can be disconnected at any time. When an agent connects, Google shows a screen named Levantics that lists exactly what is being requested. The app asks for two things, each for one purpose.
Google Calendar
So that appointments booked in the platform appear on the agent's Google Calendar, and so that times the agent is already busy are not offered on their booking page. To do this the app creates, updates and removes the appointments it booked, and reads the events on the calendar the agent chooses so it knows when the agent is busy. It keeps the title and time of those events as busy blocks. The agent's agency administrators and upline can see those busy times and event titles, unless the agent turns on private mode, which stores titles as "Busy" from then on.
Gmail, send only
So that email an agent sends to their own clients from the platform leaves from the agent's own address and sits in the agent's own Sent folder. Today the connection sends one test message, to the agent's own address. Sending to clients, including booking confirmations, is being added and uses this same permission. The app can only send. It does not ask for, and cannot use, permission to read, search, change or delete any email.
The app also sees the email address of the connected Google account, so the agent can tell which account is connected.
Levantics does not sell Google user data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
